After a quick tour with the US Army's 101st Airborne, a life-altering near-death experience, and later a film scoring degree from Berklee College of Music - I wandered into New York City in the late '90s and immersed myself in the film and TV music world, where along with being a freelance composer, I've worked with great companies such as Hi-Fi Productions, MusicBox, ICON Trailer Music, ole Media Management, Jingle Punks, APM Music, and Universal.
Over the past two decades I've composed and produced original music for many popular shows and series. Some of my more notable work is featured in 60 Days In, American Justice, Parking Wars, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and Family Plots (A&E), Pawn Stars (History), Haunting Evidence (truTV), Exiled (MTV), Mob Wives, and Black Ink Crew (VH1). See the Shows link for more.
To date, my music has been featured one way or another in over 1000 TV series.
I've composed original score for numerous documentary films, including "Murder Among The Mormons" (dir. Jared Hess), American Experience "The Gilded Age" (dir. Sarah Colt), G.I. Jews (dir. Lisa Ades), Bad Blood: A Cautionary Tale (dir. Marilyn Ness), FEAT (dir. Deborah Carr and Bradley Carr), and Valentino: The Last Emperor (dir. Matt Tyrnauer).
I was a producer for Museum Music, a record label in New York, for whom I've produced original recordings with performing artists Maureen McGovern and Ann Hampton Callaway, as well as TV, film and Broadway actors John Cullum, and Donna Murphy.
I actively produce an advertising music label called Spot On and oversee a few other successful production music labels, including ICON Trailer Music.
And for fun on the side I periodically collaborate with Jon Anderson (from YES).
